Mississauga is especially ideal for commuters. It not only has cross-city transportation and access to GO Transit, but it’s close to Pearson International Airport as well. By 2024, it will also have an LRT system that will service Hurontario-Burnhamthorpe to Brampton.
With so much to do in the city, you’ll hardly ever need to leave! There are several golf courses and sports facilities, as well as the Art Gallery of Mississauga and the Living Arts Centre. Take a shopping trip to Square One, or if you’re craving a day outside, hit the beautiful trails throughout the Rattray Marsh Conservation Area.
It’s a large corporate hub — sixty of the Fortune 500 companies have their Canadian head offices here. It’s also home to several highly-rated schools, including Cawthra Parks Secondary School (known for its Regional Arts Program), University of Toronto Mississauga, and Sheridan College’s Hazel McCallion Campus.
